Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, June 17 at 5:30 pm, Congressman Tom Rice (SC-07) will host a telephone town hall to update constituents on current federal issues, legislative priorities, and the services his offices provide. During the town hall, constituents can ask Congressman Rice questions about Congressional matters, recent legislation, and issues concerning the Seventh District and South Carolina.
“Being accessible to my constituents is a priority of mine,” Rice said. “ I enjoy hosting telephone town hall events because it allows me to hear directly from constituents across the Seventh District about the issues that matter most to them. On the call, participants have the opportunity to communicate with me one-on-one from the convenience of their homes and engage with others in the community.
“With the recent VA scandals and the Administration’s questionable foreign policy decisions, I think it is important for constituents to hear from me personally about what I am doing in Washington to represent their interests and safeguard their freedoms,” concluded Rice.
On Tuesday at 5:30 pm, constituents will receive an automated phone call inviting them to stay on the line to join a LIVE telephone town hall meeting with Congressman Rice. Seventh District Constituents can also pre-register for the telephone town hall HERE.
