Washington, D.C.— To highlight National Small Business Week, Congressman Tom Rice (SC-07) today announced he will hold a Small Business Roundtable on Tuesday, May 13, for Seventh District small business owners. This off-the-record meeting is a great opportunity for small business owners to share their concerns and needs with their federal representative.
America’s Small businesses employ 49 percent of all private sector employees, create more than half of the nonfarm private gross domestic product, and are responsible for 42 percent of the private sector payroll in the U.S. As a member of the House Small Business Committee, Congressman Rice is committed to reducing government regulations on businesses so our job creators can create more jobs.
“I am looking forward to meeting with our district’s small business owners to thank them and discuss the issues impacting success,” said Congressman Rice. “National Small Business Week is a great opportunity to highlight our business owners and their commitment to our community’s workforce.”
