Washington, DC — Congressman Tom Rice (R-SC), along with 35 of his colleagues, cosponsored a bipartisan resolution to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Operation Desert Storm’s 100-hour ground campaign, which is February 24, 2021, to honor the legacy of America’s 697,000 Desert Storm Veterans. 

“I’m proud to cosponsor this resolution that recognizes the sacrifices that were made by those who served, their families, and the 143 men and women who gave their lives during the operation. This is an opportunity to reflect on the many sacrifices our nation’s heroes have made to protect our rights and freedoms – sacrifices that should never be taken for granted,” said Congressman Rice. “This resolution commemorates their courage as a symbol of our commitment to ensuring America remains the greatest country in the world.”
