WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Tom Rice (R-S.C.) joined the Hurricane Florence Tax Relief Act as a lead cosponsor.

“Hurricane Florence wreaked havoc on the coast of the Carolinas, devastating entire communities in the Seventh District. This legislation gives Florence victims the flexibility to access emergency funds, encourages charitable giving, and enhances the deduction for personal casualty losses. These targeted provisions will provide tax relief and ease the financial burden on people recovering from this disaster.”
