Washington, D.C.— Rep. Tom Rice (SC-07) today issued the following statement after receiving notification from Time Warner Cable regarding Chesterfield County’s local cable news issue:  

“Today, is a good day for Chesterfield County residents.  Over the past two months, I have discussed the local cable news modification with officials in Chesterfield County and executives at Time Warner Cable.  I was glad to hear from Time Warner Cable today that CBS News affiliate WBTW-TV NewsChannel 13 will begin broadcasting Florence-Myrtle Beach local news, sports coverage, and area television immediately in Chesterfield County.”
