We have been living in strange times with the pandemic. We haven’t been able to go about our lives and spend time with others as we normally would. But, I want you to know that my staff is still here to assist you through virtual appointments.

During normal times, we would have the pleasure of meeting with you in person, but, due to coronavirus precautions, we are going to meet with you virtually! 

My office is here to help you break down bureaucratic walls at federal agencies. If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, my office may be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need. While we cannot guarantee you a favorable outcome, we get to "yes" more than our fair share and will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response to your problem. Navigating the federal bureaucracy is tough, but my district staff is ready to help you!

UAE and Israel to Establish Full Diplomatic Ties

Yesterday, Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a historic peace deal that will lead to full diplomatic relations between the two Middle Eastern nations in an agreement that President Donald Trump helped negotiate. This agreement will provide more security and stability around the world. 

This is a great win for Israel, the UAE, and President Trump!

China Must Be Held Accountable

China lied and covered up the coronavirus for far too long. Their deception of the origin and spread of the virus cost the world critical time and lives as it began to spread. 

Chinese telecommunications companies like Huawei serve as an intelligence gathering agent for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Recently, the Center for Strategic and International Studies compiled a list of 137 publicly reported cases of Chinese Espionage seeking to acquire information from military, civilian, government, and academic institutions.  

The Chinese Communist Party continues to suppress democracy, threaten our national security, and undercut American workers. 

The CCP must be held accountable, but Democrats would rather blame President Trump, be undermined, and taken advantage of by China. China does not have America’s best interest in mind. 

District 7 is Beautiful

We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Something most visitors and many residents rarely get to see is our beautiful rivers. I’ve spent thousands of hours on the Waccamaw, and the Black, and the Pee Dee. The beaches cannot be compared to others either. Sunrises over the ocean never fail to amaze me. 

My goodness, we are blessed to live in this beautiful place called South Carolina!

Donate Plasma

Donating plasma can help those who have recovered from a disease to treat others with that same disease. Plasma from those who have recovered from the coronavirus is currently being evaluated as a potential treatment for patients battling the virus and as a possible step toward creating a vaccine.

A few weeks ago, I hosted a blood and antibody drive in the Grand Strand, and it was a great success! I encourage all of you who have recovered from coronavirus to donate plasma. If you cannot donate plasma, I encourage you to donate blood to help others in your community suffering from illnesses.
